The Extreme Car and Beer Festival seeks to combine all aspects of motoring in one fun filled festival. The SA Single Seaters consisting of the fast Formula VW and Formula Ford classes and are set to be a close battle this year from Race 1. The all new National Sports Car Challenge will be making its debut at this event. The very exiting BMW Car Club Gauteng Racing Series will also take to the track on the day. The huge fields from the 111 Sports and Saloons are guaranteed to entertain the spectators while the Extreme SuperCars will deliver mouth drooling racing machines for all to enjoy in full on racing. If that is not enough you will definitely love to watch the very popular Volkswagen Challenge with their wheel to wheel racing and the Formula Vee’s going head to head to battle it out for top honours.

There will also be Live Music, Skidpan Gymkhana, Local Beer festival (come taste SAs top micro brewers), Kiddies Play Area and lots of exhibitors.

Gates open by 06h00 and racing starts at 10h00.
Tickets sold on the day at the gate for: R90 per Adult, R60 per Student, kids under 12 for free.

Big-Z Super Trax Sunday

15 March 2015 – Super Trax Sunday

Track Day for road vehicles – Bring own helmets (compulsory).

Trax days are available for the public to test their road vehicles performance and handling on the Zwartkops Race Track with
Driver Instructors available on the day at no extra cost. Registration takes place on the day and no advance bookings are requirred. Enquire at marshals office for more information.
Indemnity to be signed at registration. Only valid road worthy vehicles and valid license holders.

Classes: (Sessions will run approximately 20 minutes each.)
  • A – vehicles 2 litre and up
  • B – vehicles smaller than 2 litre and novice
  • C – Racing Cars (Tin Tops only – limited 93 db.)
Entry Fee:
  • R450 per driver and R60 per passenger.
  • R180 Skidpan Full Day and R30 per Skidpan passenger

Registration starts at 08h00. Drivers briefing at 09h30.
Track closes at 16h00.

Brunch Cruise

29 March 2015 – Brunch Cruise

Brunch Cruise days for motorcycles only, supported by HONDA.

These days are available for the public to test their bikes performance and handling on Zwartkops Race Track. Attire for groups B, C and D are jeans, closed shoes and gloves. Jacket and helmet is compulsary. For group A riders, full leathers are compulsory. Rider instructors are available on the day at no extra cost. Kiddies entertainment, food and drinks available at the track. No need to book in advance, first come first serve basis.

Classes: (Sessions will run approximately 20 minutes each.)
  • A – Racing Bikes and fast bikes (approx. time 1:12) – (Full leathers required)
  • B – Faster / intermediate road bikes (approx. time 1:20)
  • C – Slower / novice road bikes & pillions (approx. time 1:30)
  • D – Beginners or first timers
Entry Fee:
  • R450 per Rider
  • R60 per pillion.

Gates open at 07h00 and registration starts at 07h30, pay at registration when indemnity is signed. Riders briefing at 09h15 sessions starts at 09h30. Track closes at 16h00.

Every Wednesday afternoon Open Practice at Zwartkops

Wednesday afternoons are open practice at Zwartkops from 13h00-17h00.

Open Practice is for road cars & bikes as well as racing cars and bikes.
Registration takes place on the day, no advance bookings requirred. Indemnity to be signed at registration.

Cost: R380 per driver & R60 per passenger. Session starts at 13h00 to 17h00.

There will be no Open Practice on Wednesday, 22 April 2015.
