| 2014 SA National Formula Vee Championship Prepares For Another Action Packed Season |

| The 49th year of Formula Vee racing, in this country, gets underway at the first Extreme Festival race meeting of the year, at Zwartkops on Friday 21st March 2014. The event includes races for Extreme Supercars, 111 Sports and Saloons, the Ferrari Rosso Challenge, Super Hatch, VW Challenge, Kawasaki ZX10 Masters, Thunderbikes and Brunch Run Motorcycles. |

Included in the field, for this first round of the 2014 Hankook Fuchs SA National Formula Vee Championship season, should be reining SA National Formula Vee Champion Scott Temple who has indicated that he will continue to campaign his Championship winning Rhema 2, until the car is sold. Temple has already kicked off his quest, to add the Midas Formula 1600 National Championship title to his resume, by taking pole position and both race wins at the first Super Series event of the year, at Zwartkops on the 1st March.

| There will be a host of seasoned Formula Vee campaigners, in the Zwartkops line up, including ex South African National Formula Vee Champions, Alan Holm (Office Direct Lasersprint Rhema 2), Peter Hills (Renexcon Rhema 2), Symm Grobler (Rhema 2) and Jaco Schriks (Lasersprint Rhema 2). Other drivers, contending for the race wins, in this extremely competitive category, include Greg Wilson (Reflex Solutions Rhema 2) and Gert Van Den Berg (BP Nantes Motors Rhema 2), while the balance of the field, will be made up of regular competitors, like Henk Swanepoel (Renexcon Rhema 2), Trystan Alford (Castle Graphics Rhema 2), Ben Pienaar (BJ Pro Welding Rhema 2), Luschen Ramchander (Miami Products and Services Ansana Logistics Forza), Michael Mastnak (Reflex Solutions Forza), Bradley Benningfield (General Energy Systems Rhema 2) and relevant newcomer Danny de Bruyne (CAELEX/Phillips Rhema 2). Making their Formula Vee racing debuts, at the Zwartkops event, will be Riccardo Tafani (Club Refrigeration Forza), Martin Singelton, in yet another of the new Forza cars and Barry Du Plessis. |
