| The opening race went to Michael van Rooyen in his Williams Hunt Chevrolet Cruze, leading home Michael Stephen (Engen Audi S4), Gennaro Bonafede (Sasol Audi S4), Gary Formato (SMD Ford Focus ST) and Simon Moss (Engen Audi S4). |
| Race two, from an inverted grid, saw Hennie Groenewald leading throughout in his Sasol Audi S4, chased by the Ford Focus ST models of Gary Formatoand Shaun Duminy, plus Simon Moss and Michael van Rooyen. |
| In race three, Van Rooyen spun the Chevrolet in the first corner, rejoining stone last. |
| Two laps from the end, the Focus ST of Shaun Duminy and the Audi of Simon Moss occupied the same piece of tarmac in the Zwartkops hairpin, sendingthe Audi scuttling through the sand trap. |
| That left Michael Stephen to win in his Audi, followed by the similar cars of Bonafede and Groenewald, plus the Fords of Formato and Duminy. The New class X was also a hit with drivers and spectators alike. |
| Reigning champion Sheldon van der Linde started his Engen Volkswagen Cup title defence in the best possible manner, winning all three of the day’s races in his Champion Polo Vivo GT. |
| Tasmin Pepper (PG Glass Polo), finished second twice, while Shaun La Reservee (Alpine Motors Polo) took the remaining runner-up spot. |
| The two Thunderbike races produced the day’s quickest lap times, with Nicolas Grobler (BMW 1000RR) taking the first victory from Greg Gildenhuys (Kawasaki ZX10R) and Garrick Vlok (Kawasaki ZX10R). |
| Daryn Upton (Turn-Skill Kawasaki) won the second time, followed by Grobler and Gildenhuys. |
| Graeme van Breda (Reef Supplies ZX10R) won both the Red Square Kawasaki Masters Cup races, with Kyle Robinson (Tech Group ZX10R) and Pieter de Vos (Jongingozi) taking turns in the second places, respectively. |
| Werner Pieterse (IDG Valhalla VW Golf) won the opening Leisure Grass Northern Bolt SuperHatch race ahead of Brett Garland (Jonnesway Honda Civic) and Jonathan du Toit (TAR Honda Civic). |
| Du Toit won the second time around, leading home Pieterse and Garland. |
| Owen Bridger (Mayfair Gearbox Honda Type-R) won the first Speed and Sound 111 Sports and Saloon car race from Jannie van Rooyen (VW Scirocco) and George Bezuidenhout (Accolade Nissan Primera). |
| Van Rooyen won the next time, ahead of Adrian Dalton (VW Citi Golf) and Nic Smythe (BMW 330i). |
| The first Silverton Bolt & Nut Brunch Run race went to Donny Jones (Rex Diff Honda Fireblade, followed by Leon van den Berg (Grumpy Honda CBR) and Marius Koekemoer (Honda CBR). |
| The next time out Dirk Stols won on his Kawasaki, followed by Jones and Koekemoer. |
| The next round of the 2015 Extreme Festival series will take place at Zwartkops on Saturday, March 21. |
