Production Cars grew from Austin 35’s a “Clutch of teapots or peanuts” to the Mini’s, Anglias and then by 1963 the Ford Cortina twin cam (Lotus). Phakisa 16th of August Early Spring Rains and some brave drivers With difficult economic circumstances, private school holidays and business commitments the Pre 1966 Legend of the 9 Hours Production, Sports & GT cars were combined into one event.
