The Liqui Moly Legends Championship will make their first appearance of the season at the popular Zwartkops Raceway for the fourth round of the 2015 championship on Saturday 16 May.
The championship positions have been somewhat thrown upside down after an eventful outing at the Dezzi Raceway two weeks ago.
Divan Myburgh (Pro) has put in some consistent podium results over the first three race meetings of the year and now finds himself leading the overall championship.
Defending champion Devin Robertson (Pro) has moved into second place after a string of victories at the previous event. Llewellyn Myburgh (Pro) holds onto third position but will no doubt be keen to close in on the leading duo.
Divan Myburgh will be looking to lead out ahead of the rest of the field
Seef Fourie (Pro) drops down to fourth position after losing out on valuable points at the third round. The turn one incident at Dezzi Raceway cost him dearly and has almost certainly damaged his championship hopes. Willie Erasmus (Pro) moves up to fifth position after a good showing at the previous event as well. Young gun Keagan Wessels (Semi-pro) moves into the top six as he continues to impress with his pace as the leading rookie in the series.
Franco di Matteo continues to lead the Masters title chase, despite the fact that he has dropped down to seventh position overall after being taken out in the turn one incident at Dezzi Raceway as well. Shaun Nel (Pro) is finally showing some of his old form as he moves into eighth position in the championship. He will be looking to capitalize on recent good performances at the Zwartkops event.
School boy Clinton Bezuidenhout continues to impress as he leads the Young Lions class in ninth position overall. Experienced veteran Justin Robertson (Master) has broken into the top ten after some decent results in Port Shepstone too.
Once again a bumper field of entries is expected at the Zwartkops Raceway, with new drivers continuing to join the series at almost every event! Race fans can expect the usual close and competitive racing that only this growing series can provide.
Be there and don’t miss out on some world class racing action!
